What is a Smaart target curve?
A target curve is a reference frequency response used while tuning a PA with transfer function or RTA measurements. Most engineers do not aim for perfectly flat; they aim for a response that translates well in a real venue.
What file format does Smaart use?
Smaart target curves use the .crv format. This tool exports the required header values and the frequency / dB pairs in the format Smaart expects.
Can I build my own house curve here?
Yes. Start from a preset or from scratch, drag points to match your preferred tonal shape, then download and save it as part of your usual tuning workflow.

  • Preset curves are just starting points. Treat them as references, then adjust for the box, room and gig.
